>AGS compressometers / Extensometers comply with ASTM C469
>Compressometers are used to determine the strain and deformation characteristics of concrete specimens. It comprises two steel rings for clamping to the specimen, two gauge length bars, and spherically-seated lever unit.
>Extensometers are used to determine the radial strain, it's composed of a steel ring the is free to rotate about a pivot placed mid distance between supporting points of the ring.
>The setup can be upgraded to allow for automatic acquisition of strain readings by means of digital dial indicators, and an AGS special purpose data logging system.
